When you're stuck at home in 3 feet of snow, and you don't have enough money
to go vacationing in exotic locales, what small treasure may light up your
day?
...
Why, a postcard from a dear friend somewhere halfway around the world!
Now accepting names for a new postal letterbox, "La Poste de Bolivie"
(designed after a nineteenth-century French postcard). Unfortunately, I am
going to limit the list to the first 25 respondants--figuring that it may
take up to 6 months to make the rounds even of such a limited distribution
list. If I get oodles of appreciative e-mails from across the country,
however, I may be encouraged to carve more postcards. I just bought 400 sq.
inches of carving medium, and I've got to do something with it! If you are
interested in being on the list, please e-mai me at drlith@hotmail.com. (The
stamp will circulate in zipcode order).
